History: Produced as a C19 model (Luxemburg) – this car was never sent to Luxemburg, and instead was sold new in the UK, with Lindbrook Porsche main dealer being the original supplying dealer. First registered 12/03/2001, the original owner – Mr H Taylor took delivery of his absolute pride & joy and kept the car until April 2004. The second owner – Mr G Buckland kept the car from April 2004 until July 2004. The third owner – Mr G McMillan has owned the car since July 2004. V5 states 2 previous owners. MOT History: 2004 – 1,126 miles 2005 – 5,831 miles 2006 – 7,245 miles 2007 – 10,442 miles 2008 – 12,509 miles 2010 – 22,870 km’s (14,210 miles) 2011 – 24,169 km’s (15,017 miles) 2012 – 24,192 km’s (15,032 miles) 2013 – 24,361 km’s (15,137 miles) 2014 – 24,447 km’s (15,190 miles) 2015 – 24,492 km’s (15,218 miles) 2016 – 25,276 km’s (15,705 miles) Service History: 2004 – 1,452 miles 2006 – 7,265 miles 2016 – 15,627 miles The car has benefited from a full major service at Porsche Centre Cambridge, in December 2016 at great expense. It has also just had a new set of Pirelli Pzero Rosso tyres fitted, at a cost of over £600.00. Body & Paintwork: The Black paintwork (colour code L741) looks absolutely fantastic. We have measured the paint on all metal body panels, (our paint depth gauge measures metal items only) and we can confirm these are still in original paint, we believe only the front bumper has ever been painted since new. We have had a full machine polish carried out professionally which helps set this car apart from others, this car presents very well, unlike many black vehicles which show many signs of scratching, swirling or hazing from poor care over the years. All wheels are again in superb condition, having all had a recent refurbish whilst at the Porsche dealer for its full major service. Badges and lights are all in great condition, as is the glass. A stunning example, which certainly gets a lot of attention by anybody who see’s the car. Interior & Trim: With such low mileage from new, the interior still presents extremely well indeed. A great options list compliments this car very well, with most of them being about comfort for the occupants of the car. The electric sports leather seats are in great condition, exactly as you would expect for the low mileage. The leather bound floor mats are still present and are again, in great condition, as are the pedals, gear knob, handbrake handle and steering wheel. Among the options are the front centre console, with CD compartment, and the Becker CDR-220 cd/radio, along with automatic air conditioning. The leather trim door cards are unmarked, and the stainless entry guards with GT3 logo are still in place. This interior demonstrates low mileage, along with cherished ownership. Engine: The legendary Mezger engine….. A normally aspirated, high revving flat six engine, with 355bhp and fantastic throttle response. With a claimed 0-60mph time of 4.6 seconds, and a claimed top speed of nearly 190mph, these are still impressive figures today. Of course, the engine fires in to life with the first turn of the key, and idles perfectly. On the road, the car drives smoothly, and exactly as you would expect. The acceleration is smooth and strong through the rev range, with no hesitations – if you have ever wondered what the GT3 ‘fuss’ is about, then let us tell you it is fantastic. The engine is without any modifications from factory specification, including the original exhaust system, which sounds fantastic once higher up the rev range. Having just been fully serviced by Porsche main dealer, which included – among other things, oil & oil filter, fuel filter, spark plugs, air filter, drive belt, and a rev range report, you can rest assured the car is ready to use. Running Gear: As you would imagine, with the low mileage, all running gear is in good order. The suspension is without any unwanted noises, and has previously had the geometry set up, including corner weighting. All new Pirelli Pzero Rosso tyres fitted all around, and new brake pads front and rear. Gear change is very nice and crisp, with the clutch operation being very nice. A fantastic car to drive.
